Today is a time to reflect on all of the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom and democracy. We remember them with gratitude and honor and take a moment to give thanks for their courage and their sacrifice. Let us use this day to recommit to protecting the values they laid down their lives for. Let us never forget their heroism. Let us also recognize the contributions of those who have served and are still serving our country. We thank them for their service and dedication to our nation and to the values it stands for. We owe them a debt of gratitude.
