Do you have a plan?

Whether it is in your personal or professional life, planning is imperative.

How many of you plan for the unexpected?

There are some life issues we don't either discuss or talk about with our family.

For example, do you have a will, health proxy, or living will?

These are uncomfortable issues to discuss but so necessary.

Dealing with grief is hard enough without the family handling your estate with no proper estate planning completed.

So, make a plan, and make sure you are showing those you love; that it is okay to discuss these issues. You will feel so much better. Now, go enjoy living.

With the end of the year right around the corner, this is a great time to get your estate planning completed.

I was just talking about having a plan for our elderly parents. My work colleague's mother in law passed away while visiting them from another country last week and they were unprepared. I told him how my wife and I have made funeral arrangements for her mother who is in a nursing home.
