As you know, I love researching various topics in my blogs. I came
across this image, there was so much to unpack. So I thought I would
give it a try.
What do you see when you look at this image?
Did you notice a trend?
There are eight elements listed in this illustration, not within my control.
The key is to recognize which is within our span of control and which
elements have no space in the positive manifestations of our thoughts.
Reflect on this affirmation:
"Opinions of others are not mine
The actions of others are not mine
The chaos around me is not mine
What other people think is not mine
How I handle my challenges
What I give my energy to & how I speak
how I speak to myself within my boundaries.
My thoughts, actions, and how I set my goals
are all within my control. "
It did not take me long to develop this affirmation. Give it a try using what you see in
this illustration. The mind is so powerful, and we are in control of our thoughts.
How you speak to yourself matters. Your manifestations are right around the corner
Your visions and dreams are reality if you change how you control the narrative.
I am my peace!
Renee, this is Powerful advice to store within.
What stands out the most is 'how others take care of themselves'. A child or an elderly loved one doesn't fall into this restraint of control. Learning to put distance to others' self-destruction is saddening and out of my control. However, when & if the person reaches rock bottom, and
reaches out for a helping hand to recover, I will extend my hand to assist with caution in this endeavor.
This is so true. In fact, two of my favorite sayings echo this : "Don't worry about things you can't control." "Cross that bridge when you get to it."
Renee, I Love this article. Right on point, thanks!
